LAKE CHARLES — The Louisiana AFL-CIO, a member of the largest federation of labor unions in the United States, has announced its endorsement of Dustin Granger in the race for Louisiana Treasurer. The AFL-CIO's endorsement joins Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards, Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Davante Lewis, former U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu, Illinois Treasurer Michael W. Frerichs, former US Senate candidate Luke Mixon, political strategist James Carville, the United Rural Democrats, the Democratic Treasurers Association, and Civil Rights Activist and former US Senate candidate Gary Chambers, Jr.

“I am honored to announce that the Louisiana AFL-CIO, the nation's largest federation of unions, has endorsed my candidacy for Louisiana Treasurer,” said Dustin Granger. “I'm grateful that the AFL-CIO, which represents more than 12 million active and retired workers, appreciates my plan to reverse Jindalnomics and create a more prosperous Louisiana, with more money back in the pockets of Louisiana's working class. I'm committed to workers' rights, improved wages, and better working conditions for all.”
