LAKE CHARLES - Illinois State Treasurer Michael W. Frerichs has announced his endorsement of Dustin Granger in the race for Louisiana State Treasurer. Treasurer Frerichs' endorsement joins Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards, Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Davante Lewis, former U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu, the United Rural Democrats, the Democratic Treasurers Association, and Civil Rights Activist and former US Senate candidate Gary Chambers, Jr.

“I am proud to announce that I have secured the endorsement of Illinois State Treasurer Michael W. Frerichs. As a Certified Public Finance Officer, Treasurer Frerichs and I share similarly qualifying professional backgrounds. We also both fight for access to financial assistance for all residents of our states,” said Dustin Granger. “With seven-plus years of successful budget management and implementation benefiting Illinoisians, I would be honored to join his ranks.”
